Inside the Bruder Klaus Field Chapel by Peter Zumthor: The striking texture and dark interior were crafted through an innovative process. A tepee-shaped framework of 112 tree trunks formed the mold, encased in hand-layered concrete poured in increments, leaving tactile striations. Once complete, the wooden core was set on fire, charring the interior and leaving behind the dramatic, organic texture and color. Born in Argentina, he began photography in Architecture School and hasn't stopped since. He believes photography captures the convergence of cities, buildings, and people. His work spans diverse scales and types, from exteriors to interiors, documenting how architecture interacts with its surroundings and inhabitants. He revisits projects to show their aging and the evolution of their environment. Over time, he has focused on storytelling through photographic moments and portraits, using framing, composition, and lighting to create unique, memorable images.
