Silenzi is a series that explores the silence following coming out—not just the moment itself, but everything that comes after. In 2022, I began my long journey of coming out as a trans boy. Each photographed place marks where I first felt seen after coming out, or where it was imposed or strongly encouraged. Since 2023, as a form of therapy, I have returned to these places to reclaim them and confront the silences that still inhabit them. The images reveal the fragile balance between exposure and protection, tracing an identity shaped by space, memory, and silence.
