the June sunlight in the field, the golden grasses, the yuccas and the "Jack-go-to-bed-at-noon" all moving in the summer breeze.

Margrieta was born under Northern skies, in the Netherlands.
Her work embraces poetry, sculpture, but her main creative outlet is photography since her father showed her how to print in his self made darkroom in the attic of their house.
She uses analogue cameras (from 35mm to whole plate).

She makes silver-gelatin (contact) prints, albumen prints and various experimental prints, as well as hand-colored ones.

She lives and works in Bolsena (Tuscia), Italy
