Portraits of women living in the Kakuma Refugee Camp in Northern Kenya. The women I photographed were taking part in a business development workshop. Over the three-day workshop it was clear that there was a feeling of transformation felt by many of those who took part. The theme of these images is that of a cocoon - symbolizing both the visible and invisible transformation that occurs when the soul is stimulated by a sense of hope, a belief that change is possible.
