“Desert Rose” National Museum of Qatar is a stunning architectural marvel designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. It captures the essence of the Qatari desert landscape and culture. The museum’s design is inspired by the desert rose, a natural mineral formation found in the Gulf region, where crystalline forms grow and intersect in the desert. This concept is brought to life through a series of interlocking discs of various sizes and angles, creating an intricate and extra dynamic structure.
