I was born and live in Shibuya, but 20 years ago there were few high-rise buildings in this city. With the redevelopment of Shibuya station, skyscrapers began to line the streets. Now Shibuya is covered with more skyscrapers than ever before.
After 3 p.m., when the southerly wind blows, planes landing at Haneda Airport pass over Shibuya. The planes fly at an altitude of 2,000 feet. I fly in a small plane (not a helicopter) to take aerial photos of the planes and the Shibuya area from a high altitude. There I saw a Shibuya of today that I could not have imagined when I was born.
