The beauty and fragility presented in this exquisite Bodhi Leaf reminding me of a relic from times past. The leaf is from a Ficus religiosa tree which holds a place of reverence in Buddhism, marking the spot where Siddhartha Gautama attained enlightment over 2500 years ago. It is a living testament to the power of spiritual awakening.
I found this skeletal leaf under a tree at my workplace and shot it in my home studio with natural light then added layers to give a strong feeling of warmth and peace.
