Mauna Loa volcano erupted for the first time in 38 years on the Big Island of Hawaii. I visited Kilauea volcano in October 2022, one month before the eruption.
It was cloudy and I couldn't see the stars, but for ten minutes the Milky Way peeked out from between the clouds.
It was my first visit to the Big Island of Hawaii. I was so moved that I made this picture with this emotion and with respect for the embryo of the earth and the mystery of the universe.
