“Alone In The City” tells the story of people who are alone with themselves and with the city in different areas of the city, at different times, in different seasons.. These are the stories of people we do not know in places we do know, which we will read from time to time with sadness and from time to time with curiosity..
I started photography years ago with a simple camera, but later on this hobby turned into a real passion. I mostly work on black and white street photography, also documentary projects from time to time.
Being born and raised in Istanbul, combined with the vibrant and mixed cultural structure of the city, gave me the opportunity to continue my photography more passionately. Being a frequent traveler gave me an additional chance to photograph different cultures and different people. As Graciela Iturbide once said, “After all, photography is an excuse for me to get to know the world"
