East of the Dnipro River

The war in Ukraine's East continues to escalate a year after Russia's full-scale invasion. Over eight million people fled the country, and many others are displaced, as the OHCHR has also recorded nearly nineteen thousand civilian casualties. Military casualties in March 2023 were allegedly the highest recorded since the start of the conflict, eight hundred per day on both sides. The relentless bombardments have left a trail of destruction, crippling Ukraine's infrastructure, economy, and way of life, leaving every Ukrainian affected by the ongoing conflict.
