FALLOU DIOP, the unpredicted hope of the racetrack

Nothing predestined this child from an underprivileged background who left school at the age of 12 to become the national star who is winning victory after victory and galvanising a youth that is striving for its future.Today, Fallou Diop, in a country where the average monthly salary is about 180 euros, can earn up to 600 dollars p/ race. With this money, he helps his family financially. He pays for his siblings' schooling, has financed a new roof for his family and helps his neighbours in Niaga.

In 2019 , he was awarded to the Photography of the Year Award in the "Humanist" category for his coverage of "the yellow vest" crisis.

In 2018, he was awarded to The Photography of the Year Award in the "Humanist" category for his coverage of the Rohingya refugee

In 2016, he was a finalist for THE DAYS JAPAN INTERNATIONAL PHOTOJOURNALISM for his coverage of the Parisian attacks of November 13, 2015.
