Finnish Hyvinvointivelho Annukka has explored peace of mind from cold waters of Katumajärvi ("Lake of Regret") for several years. Ice-swimming is one way to relieve stress in the darkest period of the year (autumn-winter), when the days are short in the Northern Hemisphere. In winter, the shortest day is about 6 hours long, In Southern Finland.
