Meta Mama Operas illustrate my late mother’s endlessly-repeated stories and sayings. They allow me to communicate what it was like to be the child of an immigrant mother with a larger-than-life personality. They celebrate the love, dysfunction, irony, melancholy, and humor of family life. Her words haunt me to this day.”

Terry Vitacco’s work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions, and she has garnered numerous international accolades.
