Meta Mama Operas illustrate my late mother’s endlessly-repeated stories and sayings. They allow me to communicate what it was like to be the child of an immigrant mother with a larger-than-life personality. They celebrate the love, dysfunction, irony, melancholy, and humor of family life. Her words haunt me to this day.”
My mother always played the Diva in her operas.

Terry Vitacco’s work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions, and she has garnered numerous international accolades. Notably, she was recognized as the Overall Winner of the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, with her work showcased in an exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. Additionally, she received the Platinum Award in the London Photography Awards for her "Reenactor" series,and "Flower Portraits",Silver Awards in both the Prix de la Photographie de Paris PX3 and the Budapest Foto Awards.
