Friesian Horse Portraits

A series of Friesian horse images in the style of black and white portraits. The goal was to capture not only the strength and grace of these animals but also a sense of their vulnerability and personality as living creatures. It was also felt that black and white would make their distinctive features more accentuated.

Friesians originate from Friesland in the northern Netherlands and are known for their size, strength, and grace. As well as for their long flowing mane and distinctive silhouette.
