Ophelia is a tragic character in the drama titled Hamlet by the famous British playwright, William Shakespeare. She is a young noblewoman of Denmark and potential wife of Prince Hamlet. However, she ended up in a state of madness and was ultimately drowned.
Ophelia has been painted and portrayed by many artists. One of the most famous masterpieces was painted by John Everett Millais, now collected by Tate Gallery.
Inspired by this sad story, I re-styled Ophelia and created a series of photos titled “Ophelia” by AI. The style of the photos is mixed of oil-painting and fashion photography.
Frank Zhang is an award-winning photographer, film producer, and entrepreneur based in New York. He directed and shot photos and videos for many international brands and magazines, such as Tiffany & Co., Fashion Magazine Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, L‘Officiel, Oreo, NBA Arena, and more.
His works have been collected and exhibited by many galleries all over the world, including Vanities Gallery in Paris, Glasgow Gallery of Photography, and artsy.net. In addition, he has won 65+ photography Awards. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics and is dedicated to photography, optics and cryptocurrency.
