Retina is an autobiographical self-portrait project that describes my story as a visually impaired person, it talks about the visual impairment caused by continuous retinal detachments. I was blind then I started to see again, but it all started when I was still a child and still continues. It has been a very tough journey made up of numerous stages, some terrible, others happier like this one, where I recently approached photography. The project wants to be an invitation to overcome one's limits and never give up, a useful attitude in the face of the difficulties that life can present us.
