The book (in French) reveals in twenty-seven photo-botanical plates the mystery of the complex and unusual reproduction of the fig tree (Ficus carica L.) combined with its pollinator, the blastophaga. The photographs escape the scientific genre by being "encrusted" on a texture and in a composition which evoke the botanical plates of the 17th century.
