Red Incense

Quang Phu Cau is a village near Hanoi. It is famous for the production of incense. Many families in this area are involved in this trade.

The colour of the incense sticks come from dyes. After dyeing, bunches of incense are opened up like flowers, and left to dry in the sun.

Chin Leong is a Singapore national who has lived and worked in countries as diverse as the United States, Saudi Arabia, China, Indonesia and Japan.

This globe-trotting experience has created a desire in him to connect the different cultures of the world through photography and the visual arts.

Chin Leong started his photography pursuit in 2013 and quickly gained international recognition and accolades for his photography work.

Chin Leong’s award-winning works have been widely published by Natgeo, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, Chiiz, Outdoor Photographer, AAP, and Horzu Wissen.
