These photographs are part of a surreal series exploring the journey of the human psyche; from our own darkness (subconscious) to our light (conscious). Each animal that was photographed in the African wilds now finds itself absurdly confined in an unnatural structure. The whimsical, dream-like nature and symbology is intended to thoroughly delight and amplify a childlike curiosity and spirit and to hopefully inspire a more mindful heart and heartened mind. It is only from dreaming that we are able to awaken.
