Series of photos 'Pastel'.
I dived deeply into colours and shapes while working on the 'Pastel' series of photos, trying to bring it closer to the idea of fine-art paintings.
Aiming to reveal airiness, to erase borders between fine art and photography, to blur boundaries between reality and figment, to achieve aesthetic content by combining the ordinary and the unusual, I created this series of photos in a delicate pastel technique.
Olena Zubach is an visual artist, working in photography and collage from Kyiv, Ukraine.
Olena has a master's degree in economics and finance. She studied photography at the Kyiv School of Photography in 2021-2023. And ever since she is exploring the still life genre of photography.
