Liberated after Ukrainian counterattacks on the Russian forces in late March, many people in the town are said to have been buried in the wreckage of collapsed buildings, as search and rescue operations have been underway since early April.
This elderly woman is one of the few people who survived continued, tense Russian bombardment and airstrikes during March 2022.
Currently, Daniel is a photojournalist at Anadolu Agency.
