The Orthodox parish of Saint Maximus of Turin is a gathering point for about five thousand Orthodox faithful who live in Turin and in different places of Piemonte and Valle d'Aosta. Established in 1993 as a subsidiary community of the parish of Saints Sergius and Seraphim in Milan, the parish in Turin has grown from a small group of Italian Orthodox faithful to a gathering of Orthodox Christians from over 40 countries around the world.
