When I first drove by Bahia Honda on a highway I found it interesting
to see a bridge that doesn't touch the land on either side and it
looks majestic just in the middle of the waters.
After watching the "Modern Marvels" episode about Oversea Highway on
History channel I realized that the Bahia Honda Bridge was the most
challenging part of the whole project because of deeper waters and
high currents. Now it is an iconic piece of the history about Fl Keys,
something that was called "the highway to Paradise" at that time.
After multiple attempts to photograph it I finally took a picture that

I am a landscape photographer based in Key West, Florida, originally from the Republic of Moldova. When I came in Key West, my photography journey became more fascinating, as I was surrounded by the ocean and water become mostly present in my photography as the subject, often combined with the human activity elements. I like to show moments that can't or can hardly be seen with the naked eye such as lightning strikes or the coastal shore using long exposure techniques. My ultimate goal is to bring positive changes in people's lives by spreading the beauty and appreciation of Mother Nature.
