The subject of boys transitioning to men fascinates me. Being the mother of three boys in different stages of youth and maturity, I see a duality between their innocence and inexperience while navigating the pressures of learning how to become men. No matter what kind of men boys grow up to become - good, bad, powerful, weak, they have one shared experienced: the period of youth. It’s this twilight moment I hope to capture within this series of photographs.
