I met this beautiful California sea lion pup while diving in the Coronado Islands. Sea lion pups are often very playful, but this one was a bit more contemplative and stared at me with her large curious eyes. I love observing wildlife underwater, but the moments when one connects with wildlife are even more extraordinary. I hope to share with people the magic that I felt.
