As Taiwan is located in the subtropical zone, there is no snow on flat ground in winter. There are 268 high mountains above 3000 meters in Taiwan. Mountain peak only has snow when the cold current brings enough humidity to snow. So it might snow about 2 to 3 times a year.
To shot the snowy-galaxy photo, we need to prepare 1: It’s snowing and the amount of snow is enough. 2: The sky is clear and there is a galaxy. 3: Wheels with snow chains. 4: Vehicles are controlled after 7:00 at night. It will only rise at 4:00 in the morning.
