These images belong to a series documenting lifeguard towers. These towers were photographed in South Beach, Miami and Huntington Beach, CA. I photographed them straight on with similar compositions to emphasize the distinctive traits of each tower. The shape, stance, color, and signage anthropomorphize the structures with their idiosyncratic personalities.
