The Fragility of Memory

This series is my reflection on how fragile and unreliable memories are. Using my very first photos from my 2007 trip to Barcelona, I have took complete new photos that reflect how I remember that trip now. In my homeland sometimes we say “white spot”, meaning unexplored geographical areas or unknown areas of something. But what is forgotten in fact becomes unknown, not explored and to visualize my experiences, I decided to use white wall paint from the nearest hardware store, because the process of painting walls - erasing, covering up traces of the past - is very similiar to forgetting.
