Malao is a sweet offering for Tian Gong(the God of Heaven)in the traditional Taiwanese New Year festival. Worshiping Ma Lao has the meaning of longevity. The traditional Malao wrapped in three kinds of flavor: rice, peanut, or sesame. The modern Taiwan food industry has pushed the creativity of sweets to its limit. Apart from the traditional three flavors, it also combines Chinese and Western ingredients to create marshmallows, chocolate beans, pumpkin seeds, seaweed, almond slices, purple rice, peanuts, curry...20 A variety of colorful and delicious taste.
