Yunnan and Guizhou are the Chinese provinces richest in ethnic diversity,where I found evidence of the different local cultural minorities that still survive globalization. I met Mr. Huang,fishing with his cormorants on the typical bamboo raft.I continued my trek between local farmers and Yao wooden villages.In the remote mountains I met the Longhorn Miao tribes,wrapping their hair in wool,ancestral hair and black thread around a wooden horn with an embedded comb.Finally I got to know the Bai, Naxi and Yi ethnic tribes,who still harvest rice by hand and live following their ancient traditions.
