The Dukha reindeer herders of Northern Mongolia have been living their traditional nomadic lives for centuries. There are many beautiful aspects to their nomadic culture and Shamanistic beliefs. Some of the most apparent traits are their openness to strangers, their sense of community, their ability to make strangers feel at home, and their dedication to their animals and the preservation of their culture. They move their belongings and reindeer herd at least twice a year. During my visit, my favorite moments were when they genuinely opened their lives before the camera.
