CONFINED

Europe is in lockdown. Borders are closed. What it seemed unthinkable
for many, was already the reality that irregular migrants and asylum seekers
were facing. In the past years, borders controls become more severe,
people got stuck in a limbo of fear and uncertainty. In the last months of 2019, Europe witnessed an increase in the waves of refugees going for “the game” - how they ironically refer to the attempts of crossing to the Old Continent. Now the game has stopped. With the closure of borders due to the new Coronavirus crisis, these people are forgotten and confined between borders.
