This series was taken at Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden tiger habitat in Las Vegas, NV. I spent many days and hours with the cats, watching their behaviors and becoming acquainted with their personalities. I came to find that each one had a defined soul and clear personality. In the hours I sat with them, I began to wonder how important these captive exposures were to their utter survival. They are captives and I wondered if they know what it means to be free or if they should even be there at all. What is captivity instilling for us and for them?
