The on-going citywide Movements in Hong Kong arose from the millions marching against the Hong Kong-China extradition bill since 9th June 2019, have then evolved into deeper calls for democracy. Violent clashes have overridden the means of demonstrations as the government fails to fulfill people’s demands.

Chan Long Hei born in 1994, is an independent photographer based in Hong Kong. With his university education background in social policy, he started his career as a photojournalist in 2016 working for different local and international media and companies. Also, he received several awards locally and internationally in reportage field. Apart from his career, he is now devoted to documenting social phenomenons and personal photo projects.
