The project “slopeSeries“ is a series of photographs documenting skiing-areas and their infrastructure in the eastern part of Switzerland, captured from an yet unseen aerial perspective during winter.

The photographs focus on the interplay of man-made structures embeded in natural structures of the alpine environment. Within the context, the humans are the combining and meaningful element: by using lifts and slopes they merge the anthropogenic and natural structures to a comprehensable overall-image as the viewer has to decode the scene.
