These are things that have been tangerine wraped to my mum for many years as her best friends. I don't know if it created a second portrait of my mum but I felt it carried her breath and fingerprints. I chose a black background to emphasize the objects. It was also the blackboard used as photo frame for my first solo exhibition in 2005. My mum always supported me following photography.
"Connection" is the second part of the on-going project "My mum”.
Part one is the story of my mum, a woman 87 years old, overcoming all challenges to overcome illness.
