Story of a young and lost person trying to feel free and find love. An effort to understand how we express freedom, intimacy, closeness; how we seek a real connection with the inner self and the other. It depicts the artist innermost states of fear, desire and affection. Magnetic and totally absorbing the reader, the book remains in our memory for hours. When going through the book, one can get the impression of being on the edge of reality and dream, life and death, between something permanent and ephemeral. These images are like a love poem and Ilias Georgiadis becomes a poet of photography.
Established in 2012 and based in Warsaw (Poland), BLOW UP PRESS is a boutique style publishing house focusing on contemporary photography, known for such publications as doc! photo magazine (mook dedicated to contemporary documentary photography) and DEBUTS (annual publication presenting the most talented emerging photographers). BLOW UP PRESS also publishes monographs following the company motto: WHEN THE STORY MATTERS.
