“Art Beyond Beauty” is a photographic book project born from a collaboration between italian beauty and fashion photographer Camilla Camaglia and israeli award-winning makeup artist Einat Dan. The book is a collection of creative makeup photography that shows how a face can be used to create art. The purpose of the book is to let the world know that make-up is an art form, just as any other form of visual art.
Camilla Camaglia is a freelance photographer working in the fields of beauty, fashion, portrait and photography. Her great attention for detail made her a sought after collaborator for international artists, make up artists and magazines. She is based in Italy and Germany while travelling extensively for her artistic projects.
In 2006 she graduated in Photography and Visual Communication at the IED in Rome.
Camilla has recently published a makeup book with international makeup artist Einat Dan, sponsored by makeup brand Kryolan.
