La Rappresentante Di Lista is an emerging italian band by Veronica Lucchesi and Dario Mangiaracina. Go Go Diva was released on '18 and critically acclaimed as one of best italian pop albums of the year. This pic is part of the series i shot for its cover and booklet. Veronica and Dario asked me to represent a sense of freedom given by their bodies and nudity, as quote from Lady Godiva's legend. Inspired by dance and theatre imagery, I invited them to perform in front of my camera. I used flash lights, a tulle and wet costumes to create a dreamlike setting as a renaissance painting.
Professional photographer specialized in ADV, street and theatre stage photography. Since 2006 I collaborate with music labels, communication agencies, companies and foundations.
My research focuses on gender identities, social and urban transformations, imaginaries of the new theater. In 2017 i published my first book, "The hands of the city", a bn project about migrant workers in the after-earthquake rebuild of L'Aquila (DRAGO Publisher).
