Pirates is a whimsical photo narrative, illustrating a salty crew of children playing on a wooden pallet, which they have found on the beach. Although the photo has captured the children in a moment of imagination, the real story portrays the desire the wooden pallet has to be more than something other than a discarded, washed up piece of drift wood.
