Melancholy Circus is an allegoric triptych of feelings that appear behind the scenes. Three characters from an old circus represent feelings of loneliness and hidden roles. We can play the role of cheerful clown, but we cry in the shadows. We can build up a scenery of a beautiful family life, while being totally exhausted. We can raise our bars too high and play dangerously with our lives.

For you, who have to keep up the role.
To all tired parents. Especially to mothers.
For all of you who struggle with balance.
