I was hired by HAVAS Worldwide to do portraits of kids from a club in Chicago; Off The Street Club. OTSC is an organization that was established to keep young kids of Chicago safe and off the streets. Chicago has the largest gang infested neighborhoods in America. It is nearly impossible for a child in areas of Chicago to avoid joining a gang. Drugs and street violence take the lives of over 800 children a year in Chicago. These are just a few of the kids that are members of the OTSC. Many of these kids remain in school and get scholarships for college. Many elders return to OTSC to volunteer.
