When the Bastile was stormed on 14th of July 1789, Louis XVI posed a famous question. "C’est une révolte(Is it a revolt)?" La Rochefoucauld responded, "Non, Sire, c’est une révolution(No, Sire, It is a revolution)!"
After 230 years, French people are on the street for 24 consecutive weeks now, calling for the resignation of president Macron. Seeing this Yellow Vests(Gilets Jaunes) movement, we get to pose a similar question: Is it a revolt or a revolution?
