A ´trend´ is when a particular group of things becomes popular for an often short period of time. Trends occurs as a result of a larger group of people considering something is "in". Often as a contradiction to the world we live in, or perhaps an earlier trend from the past.

Every winter and summer, the biggest fashion designers present their collections in cities like Paris, Milan, New York and London. But in Scandinavia, Copenhagen is now considered the fashionable capital. Each year the Copenhagen Fashion Week attracts designers and purchasers from a large part of Northern Europe.
