While Iceland’s weather is extreme, often changing from hour to hour, the horse’s ability to thrive within this ever-changing ecosystem is innately embedded in their DNA. This breed is the original Viking horse brought to Iceland with its very first residents, so these animals have grown accustomed to the awesome yet daunting land. Together, the two have a rich history that creates one cohesive yet visually near-unbelievable narrative.
