Through photography I’ve always been trying to capture the essential beauty that creatures possess, which is far removed from the beauty of their outward appearance.
What I am photographing in this work is not the superficial form - it should be called the soul.
The forms that can be seen with the eye, like the elephant, flamingo, and zebra, are only the clothes that their souls wear.
