Sex workers have long been a fascinating subject to photographers for decades, but too often these photographs further harmful stereotypes. As a former sex worker, I felt it was time for the public to see sex workers as they really are: regular people. I travelled across Canada and photographed all different types of sex workers doing regular, every day things in their home environments to help provide a new narrative. In a time where sex work laws are evolving, it is more important than ever to have their voices heard and have the public see the people who are affected by these changes.
