The Environmental Defense Find is promoting programs that
support sustainable fishing around the world. These programs
based on science, policy reform, community organizing, and
product promotion are successful. These images are from the
program in Newton, OR whose rockfish fishers have seen a
rebound of their fishery to the point where quotas have had to be
raised.
John Rae is a professional documentary and commercial photographer based in NYC. His clients include Fortune 500 companies and leading International Nongovernmental Organizations.
