George Khosi's boxing club is one man's attempt to bring
aspiration and discipline to Johannesburg's most notorious
neighbourhood. In a disused and converted petrol station, George,
a professional boxing trainer, coaches aspirant boxers and teaches
kids the benefits of discipline.

Karen Braun is an accomplished documentary photographer and visual story-teller. She seeks to document stories that need to be told with images that are authentic, intimate and aesthetic. Her images are not only beautiful, but inspire the viewer to reflect more deeply on the subject matter.

Karen also enjoys portrait work where she creates intense and arresting images that celebrate the simple, authentic beauty of her subjects.
