A series of concert black and white photographs capturing the
essence of the jazz performers soul. Each picture catches the performer in an ecstatic or meditative state that only a musician knows.
In addition to being a photographer, I am a jazz piano student in
conservatory at the American School of Modern Music and Paris
and Princeton University. Highly influenced by jazz photography in the 50s (David Redfern's portrait of pianist Bill Evans, for example)
